Service Offset Supplies and Vivid Laminating Technologies are coming together to host an open day at the Royal Air Force Museum in Hendon.

Taking place on 5 and 6 November, the event is being called the ‘Blue Sky Thinking Open Day’ and visitors will get the chance to see a new 1.8m hybrid UV LED large format printer from Chinese manufacturer Yotta.

‘Like many modern machines from China, Yotta offers great value along with high quality,’ said SOS Sales Manager Ashley Fleming. ‘It will produce in either roll or sheet format, and offers great potential margins. Yotta is producing hybrid and flatbed machines accepting media widths of up to 3.2m.’

SOS is also bringing two of its best-selling eco solvent roll-to-roll machines, the Epson SureColor SC-S 80600 and Roland TrueVis2, the latter including print-and-cut capability. The company will also show the new Roland LEF2-300 UV LED flatbed direct-to-substrate machine. ‘Direct-to-substrate is a growing market, and this is the ideal machine for the job,’ Mr Fleming added.

The machines will be joined by colour management solutions from EFI and Alwan as well as a range of Vivid’s finishing equipment including the Matrix 370, EasyMount 1600SH, Magnum MN-35 and the Omni Flow 370.
